Is one of the “newest employability tools” that addresses what employers are looking for in new hires.
What is the National Work Readiness Credential?-
A national portable certification that certified individuals have the skills needed for successful performance as entry-level workers. It was created by national, state and local leaders in business, government and labor.

It provides universal, transferable and national standards for work readiness.

It is a national online exam that is housed at EOC. It takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete. Questions are based on the nine Equipped for the Future (EFF) standards that were identified by employers as the skills needed for entry-level jobs.
- Upon passing the exam candidates will receive the National Work Readiness Credential Certificate.
