The Certified Dental Assisting Program

The Certified Dental Assisting Program is designed to provide students with the education and practical skills to gain employment in a variety of dental facilities such as; private dental offices, hospitals and dental clinics. The program offers courses including: dental radiology, infection control (OSHA training), chairside dental assisting, and computer skills. Included in the program is a 300 hour clinical externship at various dental offices throughout the Western New York area.

In addition, the students will complete training in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Dental Assisting National Board review and online HIPPA training.

This course of study is registered by the NY State Department of Education and Accredited by the American Dental Association, Council on Dental Accreditation.
