Student Development Center

The Student Leadership Association (SLA) is housed in the SDC. Through workshops and school activities, SLA members will develop leadership skills, critical thinking skills as well as a sense of civic responsibility through participation in The EOC’s Legislative Advocacy Program and other community activities.

Networking and resume development is incorporated into all activities so that students are prepared to find employment once they graduate.

“The Alliance” is the EOC’s student newsletter. This newsletter is distributed by the Student Leadership Association throughout the year and is written by EOC students and alumni. All students are invited to submit articles for the newsletter.

			The Student Development Center (SDC) located in room #212 at the EOC, is a central resource center for students seeking support services. We provide information and resources on; transportation, housing, child care, finances and budgeting, higher education and other community resources. The SDC hosts events throughout the year including: Career Fairs Heritage Days Legislative Advocacy Group SUNY Day in Albany, NY Wellness Fair College Fair Workshops and seminars
